Nicole Beckett's Writing Portfolio

Fall 2008

Welcome to my writing portfolio for Honors Composition 101. If you have not checked out the rest of my website, I will give you a little background about myself. I am Nicole Marie Beckett and I have lived in Parkston since my sixth grade year and have loved every minute of it. I have chosen to major in Elementary and Special Education here at Dakota State University with a minor in Reading. I am hoping to obtain a bachelor's degree and become a great teacher within the next four years.           When I have spare time I love spending it with friends or family. I especially love hanging out with my younger sister and helping teach her lots of new things, currently she is working on learning how to read.  I also enjoy scrapbooking, working on my website, reading, occasionally running and definitely taking pictures!

In my portfolio I have included a few pieces of what I believe is a display of my best work. I have worked at revising each piece of information and feel that they portray my writing ability to it's fullest. I hope you enjoy reading each of them!
