Tragedy comes in many different ways, but when caused by another human being, it is even harder to understand. Although we may not ever understand the reason for the tragedy faced on September 11, 2001, it is important to learn about the events that occurred. You are going to learn about the events of September 11, 2001 by receiving an assigned role of either the victims, survivors or the rescuers. Keep this role in mind as you answer the following questions.
We will start by splitting the class into three different groups of 5 or 6 students. Each group will be assigned a different role and in the end will answer the big question listed below.
The Big Question: How has the affects of September 11, 2001 impacted America today? Include how citizens have changed and the protection movements that have been placed across the United States.
For this web quest, each group will have a separate role and will work towards finding information to answer each of their according questions listed below. We hope you thoroughly research your perspective so you have a deep understanding of what someone in that role faced the day of September 11, 2001. Do not forget about our main question listed above. Once each group has had time to find information and answer their assigned questions, we will come back together and discuss the findings as a whole class. We will discuss every group or personal opinions on the overall big question.

Now that each group has had time discuss their specific roles, we would like the entire class to come together and share your questions and view points with the rest of the class.
